Tributes to Our Fallen Heroes

The brave soldiers left their mothers, fathers, wives, husbands, children, babies and everything they had had to stand in the front line of the battlefield against the attack from Thailand. They sacrificed their flesh and blood to protect those who are behind-everyone of us, and the sovereignty of the country. Their sacrifices are our life-time debt which we can never forget. The families they left behind should be supported at any cost.

The hopes of our fallen soldiers pass on to each of us. We must stay strong, be resilient, endure the hardships, learn from this conflict and consider taking this misfortune as an opportunity to develop ourselves and hence foster our country for the better future where no one will ever dear to assault us in any form. This aim may take generations but it is not impossible to achieve. Therefore, we hope all the sacrifices of our heroes be the key driving us to the ultimate goal.

Finally, we humbly bow in remembrance and express our deepest gratitude to all Cambodian soldiers who went to the front lines and, tragically, sacrificed their lives in defense of this nation. May the souls of all our fallen heroes rest in eternal peace, never to be forgotten.
